business cards & stationery

A company's business cards are important because they are often the point of contact retained by prospective and current customers - they need to be well designed and, as with the logo and all imaging, should be designed to reflect the essential nature of the business / service. They also need to be distinctive so that they don't get lost and, when they do, can be readily recalled by the memory!

It is practical to use standard business card size (i.e. 55 x 90mm) as this fits into existing card reference systems (business card holders, wallets, indexed systems, etc). A larger card can be used so long as it is commercially folded to fit within the standard size specifications.

Printing two sides can be useful when there is a lot of information or include an appointment time.

Cards can also be designed as part of a brochure, designed to fit in a corner of the layout and perforated so that interested people can tear them out to keep.
