Primarily, as with most marketing material, designs for advertisements needs to attract immediate attention. Adverts invariably compete for space and are usually displayed among several other businesses, often offering the same services.

The design needs to convey the unique features of the business attracting people looking for those particular features. Address details (phone numbers, email and web addresses) need to be visible and easy to find.
