how much will it cost

Because of the range of work and the vastly differing briefs given, it is impossible to give a quote for specific work until after the first meeting - which can take place face to face (I am happy to come to you but my studio is a great place to visit &, with coffee in the Front Office - the deck overlooking the sea), by phone or by email

The following steps in the design process provide an indication of costs.

This initial consultation is free.
From the brief presented, I can usually work out an estimate of cost.
I can also provide quotes for printing costs and web hosting options.

I come up with initial draft drawings of the design / layouts / web page layout.
For logo development specifically, there is a NZ$350 +GST (NZ only) fee for this. All other layouts are on the hourly rate unless another arrangement has been made.

Together we look at the draft designs and work out where to from here!
Often, the designs can be taken almost immediately to finished art stage.
Other times, there are photographs to be included, changes made to emphasis, colour added, etc.

Artwork is taken to pre-press stage and sent digitally to the chosen printer or uploaded onto the web.

The hourly rate is NZ$90 + GST (NZ only) per hour. A link to an international currency converter is in the box on the left. GST is not applicable on international contracts)
All work is negotiable and estimates/quotes can usually be given after the initial brief has been received.
All work is invoiced on a monthly basis and payment required within 10 working days.
