| QUALIFICATIONS |
I have over twenty years experience in the graphic design business and love my work. While serving at the Baha'i World Centre in Haifa, Israel, and inspired by the Jewish and Arabic art forms, I began informally designing posters, invitations, display panels, book covers and various pieces of calligraphy. On returning to Auckland, New Zealand in 1982, I was employed for 3 years as a graphic designer working first with Peregrine Ltd and then employed by Wholesale Accessories Ltd. Realising that good commercial designs require an indepth knowledge of the printing process, I spent 18 months working as a film stripper for a print company (Identicolor Ltd), freelancing as a designer at the same time. I moved to Hawkes Bay for personal reasons and have been here working freelance ever since.
On the formal side, I have a B.Soc.Sci. from Waikato University.
